Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us. The Negleted Sins of Inaccurate Doctrines and Worldviews  May 9, 2008
This is definitely one of the most easy to read books from Kelley Varner. He clearly shows how negligence of doctrine and manmade traditions hold the church from taking their position as rightful heirs of God. If a person deals with these sins he is headed for all that God has for him. Though the book does not deal with the obvious sin, that much holiness people teach and preach about, it will show that also these sins should not be overlooked by Christians. These are more subtle sins that have just as much power to block our advance in Christ.

He shows sin that is in all the evangelical camps, in the first realm, our evangelical friends, in the second realm among our Pentecostal friends and in the third realm among the Kingdom people, or descendants of the Latter Rain Revival.

This is a must read for every Christian who really wants to live for God, and go beyond a lukewarm, moderate Christian life. Any Christian questioning himself if his spiritual roots can hold the test of being seen put in the light of the bible should read this book. It will be most enlightening for searchers of biblical, reformed Christianity.

It must be noted that though some of the sins are put in to one of the realms they certainly are committed largely in more than one realm.

This book belongs to one of the best I've ever read.
One of his Best Works  Nov 26, 2007
Dr. Varner is very clear in his presentation. He shares examples and he brings everything to a personal level, sharing experiences that he either still struggles with or has overcome. This is one of his best works along with "Chosen for Greatness" and "The Priesthood is Changing." Every disciple of Jesus who wants to grow to maturity needs to read this book, and his others, too.

Eye Opener  Sep 7, 2007
I didn't realize that some of the "sins" Mr. Varner discusses in this book were actually sins. He discusses each of these sins with clarity and detail. My eyes have been opened.
Sins  Aug 5, 2007
This book talks about how we are to be like Jesus. We need to be transformed by His grace. God has a high calling for each of our lives. Sin is an obstacle to maturity and unity.

God wants us to be aware of the religious traditions and doctrines of man. This book talks about the deadly teachings that God wants us to avoid. God wants us to be free to be like Him.
